Dry Island Shellfish

Dry Island Shellfish.
Finalist in the Highlands and Islands food awards.
Dry Island Shellfish is a small, family run company based on an island in the middle of Badachro Bay, Wester Ross. Although only trading to the general public for the last 5 years, Ian's family have been fishing and fish curing for hundreds of years. All our shellfish is caught sustainably using creels to ensure that we will have a supply of some of Scotland's finest natural produce for generations to come.
Jess, Ian's partner now runs a successful fish stall on Gairloch Pier selling a wide range of fish and shellfish straight from the boats and all from Scottish waters. We also attend Farmer's markets all over the North of Scotland.
We supply fresh langostine, lobster, squat lobsters, local hand dived scallops, crab.
Peat smoked mackerel, fresh and peat smoked haddock.
Wester Ross smoked salmon and hot smoked salmon.
We also make our own delicious smoked salmon and mackerel pates.
We can make up shellfish hampers to order including a variety of local produce.
We provide a mail order service and all fish and shellfish can be delivered refrigerated within the UK next day. Shellfish can also be cooked to order.
For an exciting gift idea, give our shellfish and shellfish safari gift vouchers.
We have a variety of recipe cards available with some great ideas from Dry Island. Recipe booklets are available for sale. Cooking tips are happily given for free by Lobster Jess.
