Transition Gairloch and Loch Ewe

Building local resilience to rising oil prices, a shrinking economy and the effects of climate change.  We believe local people can make a difference through practical action and community projects.  GALE's transition project facilitates this local action.

So far we have established a local car-sharing scheme, a series of inspirational and challenging film nights, a foraging day and craft workshops to help people create 'upcycled' Christmas presents.
